CEO: Dr. Christopher J. O'Brien

Co-founder of ChemTank and Director of Chemistry and Intellectual Property . Chris started his academic career at UMIST with a degree in chemistry. He later moved to Sheffield and obtained his PhD under the supervision of Prof. V. K. Aggarwal . Before co-founding ChemTank Chris invented the PEPPSI™ catalyst series with Prof M. G. Organ and Dr. Eric Assen B. Kantchev. Chris is now an assistant professor of synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Dr. Horst B. Kutsch

Co-founder of ChemTank and Director of Finance, Sales and Marketing. Horst started his academic career at the University of Dortmund (Germany), Bochum (Germany) and Sheffield (UK) with studies of statistics, management and theoretical medicine. He obtained a degree in statistics and econometrics (Dipl.-Stat. equivalent to an M.Sc.) in 1999. Horst has acted as a management consultant for InterScience Consulting, taught at the Kassel International Management School (KIMS) and worked for the Max-Planck Institute. He obtained his Dr. rer. pol. (PhD) at the University of Cologne (Germany) under the supervision of Prof Dr. Dr. h.c . N. Szyperski and is a member of the Business Research Group for Innovative Technologies at the University of Cologne.
