Dr. Dasantila Golemi-Kotra

Dr Golemi-Kotra is an assistant professor at York University (Toronto, Canada) and her main research focus is directed towards combating viral or bacterial infections. Currently Dr. Golemi-Kotra is active in the areas of HIV and antibiotic resistance; projects directed towards the development of new treatments and understanding of the molecular mechanisms of resistance are ongoing in her laboratories.

Dr. Michael Denk

Dr. Micheal Denk is an associate professor at Guelph University (Guelph, Canada); his main research focus is in the stabilisation and utility of highly reactive compounds for material applications. A current area of his research is directed towards the deposition of thin films. Such methodology would be of great benfit in microelectronic circuits and photo-voltaic "solar cell" applications.

Prof. Alan Hopkinson

Prof. Alan Hopkinson is a professor at York University (Toronto, Canada); his research employs computational methods to aid in the understanding of the structures, stabilities and fragmentations of protonated peptides and of peptide radical cations in the gas phase. Prof. Hopkinson regularly utilises Gaussian 03, DFT calculations and molecular dynamics.

Dr. Gregory Chass

Dr. Greg Chass is a Lecturer at the University of Wales (Bangor, UK); His research is directed towards the formulation of effective computational methods including the design and construction of PC-Unix clusters and 'smart' data-sets for scientific computations. Research is focused on organometallic catalysts, peptide & protein folding, biological building blocks and bioactive molecules using ab initio methods. All works are applied towards forming synergy between experiment and theory.

Dr. Vy Dong

Dr. Vy Dong is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada). Her research interests are focused on the development of new cataysts and methodology for complex molecular synthesis utilising transition metals. Specfic research is direct towards the activation of C-H bonds and the production of nitrogen containing heterocycles.
