ChemTank was founded in 2005 by Dr. Christopher J. O'Brien, Dr. Eric Assen B. Kantchev and Horst Kutsch with the mission to: contribute to the advancement of humanity by the employment of chemical sciences to fight disease and develop new technologies in an ethical and compassionate manner. Working towards these goals, ChemTank is a chemical consultancy company with unique chemical know-how, insights and skills .

The founders' vision was and is to create a 'one-stop-shop' for all chemistry related problems. To this end ChemTank seeks out and collaborates with highly inventive and skill professionals in all areas of chemistry. This enables Chemtank to provide to its' customers a highly adaptable service which can respond to their information and technical needs.
